Australia Private Sector Credit Rises 0.8% In August

Private sector credit in Australia was up 0.8 percent on month in August, the Reserve Bank of Australia said on Friday – accelerating from 0.7 percent in July.
On a yearly basis, private sector credit rose to 9.3 percent from 9.1 percent a month earlier.
Individually, housing credit rose 0.5 percent on month and 7.6 percent on year, while personal credit added 0.3 percent on month and fell 0.6 percent on year and business credit jumped 1.2 percent on month and 14.1 percent on year.
Broad money was up 0.3 percent on month and 9.1 percent on year.
